Working on some cocobolo parts for another espresso machine. When I asked what shape they wanted the handles turned, the answer was surprise me. You thing they will be surprised? It is the new minimalist design. Lot of work making a round tree square.

Ironwood burl for an Olympia Cremina. Do not get orders for Ironwood often. The wood has gotten very expensive. I wish I had made a set for myself years ago before the wood got so insane expensive.

Macassar ebony portafilter handles for a Nuova Simonelli. Interesting grain on these, very tight grain which makes for a very hard wood.

Little more ironwood burl. Owner wanted a more muted end on the portafilter handle, a Reg Barber tamper handle and a brew lever all satin finished.

Little holiday project for myself. This started as a ground and heat treated blade blank. I did the shaping, file work, jimping, sand/polish/etc... Scales are water buffalo with white streaks, bone wedge, pins are made from 1/16 silver nickel rod with stacked brass and stainless washers and the blade has stainless thrust bearings. Turned out nice in my opinion.

Now you have the option to truly personalize your machine to reflect your personality. Add a wood portafilter handle or a complete set to truly personalize your machine.
Would you do side panels of a Slayer machine?

You would need to send me the side panels off the machine to use as a template.

These handles are absolutely gorgeous, cannonfodder!!!

We have a nice piece of clear Teak stock that never got used on the sailboat. Bet it would look great turned down for handles/levers, though not as stunning as these you have in your pictures.

The size of our Teak stock is 2.5" x 2.5" by about 24". No idea what that would cost today. It's been kicking around for many years waiting for a project that has yet to happen.

Parts for an Elektra Leva. Macassar ebony portafilter, lever and steam control with a Bacote for an Olympia.
