It was made for someone. I make everything by hand and to order but yes, that was a very expensive set. Amboyna burl is very rare.

Pair of Cocobolo portafilter handles. Freshly turned Cocobolo is more purple, then oxidizes to red. These were turned about 2 weeks apart.

I just sent a message to Cannonfodder and asking if he has already made a paddle style wood piece for ECM Synchronika flow control. The screw to the valve is on the side, not on top. So the screw must go horizontally to secure the wood paddle in place. The wood will have to ride across and on top of the valve.
Not the knob style which I currently have. The problem with a small knob is that my finger may get burned sometimes and I'd like to run it without looking. I would like something bigger, extends over the top cup resting shelf while the lower portion still revolves in 360 radius without interfering the back wall. Anyone could share some ideas ? I saw some home made versions and I will post later on
