Mahlkonig e65 grinder grounds tray fitting template and walnut short hopper top along with 2 walnut LaMarzocco style portafilter handles.

With the complexity of the grinds catch tray (it is 2-sided) a fitting sample is always prudent before cutting the final part.

Something a little different. Had a request for a hopper funnel for a KafaTek grinder in Gabon Ebony. Difficult wood to work with but got it done.

Beautiful work Dave!

Gives that grinder the 'Nautical' look, as a Comm from the Bridge down to the Engine Room.

I can just picture the Captain yelling - "All Ahead Flank!"
"You didn't buy an Espresso Machine - You bought a Chemistry Set!"

Does kind of resemble an old ship speaking tube. Guess you could scream at your beans with it.

Walnut hopper lid for a LA Tweak glass hopper. They make aftermarket hoppers to replace the plastic that comes on most grinders. They use a multi-peace glue-up so if you drop it, it could break the hopper lid, which is what happened. This one is a solid 6-inch wide walnut board, and premium grade wood, not cheap common grade.
