Cocobolo for a Lelit Mara espresso machine.

For those thinking Cocobolo wood. The species was added to the CITES II treaty list a year or two ago. It is now a threatened species and illegal to import or export. The wood in the supply chain is drying up. Since there will never be a replacement in our lifetime, the cost of the existing wood is going up by the hundreds of percent because once it is gone, it is gone forever.

Hello,

Did you have the metal inserts required to make handles for the Strietman?
I have a CT2 and would love you to make some handles.
I can supply the wood if you give me the rough dimensions of what you require to start with.

Thanks,
Greg

Handles for a Decent espresso machine and a Monolith grinder cap in cocobolo. The handles will darken over the next few weeks. Freshly turned cocobolo is more purple then turns red with a little time.
