Thanks!

We recommend that the starting place for the temperature of water for all our coffees, including the decaf, to be hitting the puck at 203-205 degrees. Let us know how that goes!

Awesome personalized service! Great communication....

Coffee was vacuum packed once received and frozen, awaiting machine to be returned to service.
T-shirt a nice touch too.

Thnx Sean.

Hey guys, any updates on a HB discount yet?

I just received my 1Kg of Gran Miscela Carmo Espresso a few hours ago, and am really impressed. I am ramping up my temp from 200 to 204 based on recommendations here and look forward to experimenting more with it.

But I wanted to commend the service I received. I ordered the coffee in the afternoon on Friday, and received it on Monday via 2 day Priority Mail. It was shipped out within a few hours of ordering, and had been roasted that day. Kudos also to USPS for the fast shipping over the weekend.

Thank you for your kind words! We always try to make sure the orders are processed on the same day the coffee was roasted. We have a great USPS mail carrier and he is always willing to work with us if I am trying to get out an order out past our cut-off time.

We don't do too many mail orders, so I do notice and recognize the names of people who reorder on a regular basis. It really means a lot to me personally that people are willing to order our coffee again and again. Also, the unsolicited reviews of the coffee that I get to pass on to my farmers at origin make it that much more special. Everyone one from Sergio Dias to Pedro Chaib love to hear how their coffee is appreciated!

I have only ordered a couple of times, but the service has been superb. My only problem has been not being able to wait long enough before starting to charge through it...I'm just reaching the end of the bag as the coffee starts to hit its sweet spot. Just placed a new order--thanks for the discount! Maybe I'll be patient enough this time.

I just placed an order with the free shipping, save a couple of dollars. :D I am going to try the 5# of GMC, we really enjoy it and thought we would try freezing some of it as we use about 2#'s per month. If you have any tips please let me know.
I missed the meet up but Snoqualmie Pass has not been the best this winter and now with the start of the construction season it is supposed to get worse. But we would like to come over for a visit sometime this spring or summer................might have to take the scenic route using Stevens Pass. :)
Just to echo previous posts, the service has been superb!!!

Tom, there are plenty of threads on the best ways to freeze roasted beans. Ball jars are your friend. Depending on your consumption rate, 8 or 16 oz. jars work great.

5 lbs of beans fills 14 of the 8 oz jars with just a bit left over. Make sure the lids are on very firmly. Enjoy!
