Is there a special tool to remove the bolts inside the boiler cup for the La Pavoni sight glass?

I've seen a special wrench to remove bots that hold steam tap - maybe there is something similar?

I had no luck reaching it with my own ratchets and wrenches at home (maybe that speaks to my level of experience?!).

For removing the nuts that fix the sightglass mounts a normal metric spanner should work (either 14 or 16, i dont know by heart) You'll need to remove the heating element first. These nuts tend to be stuck due to scale.
It helps it you have something to hold on to the sightglass mount while you apply force with the spanner. For me it helped to alternate between tightening and losening the nut in order to get it to move.
