It's better to talk about weight, not volume, when measuring output.

There's no reason why say 60g would taste any worse with a lever machine - other than if you have to resort to the described fellini move. Many avoid it due to how the puck reacts, as seen in this video (3 minutes in):

I haven't received my Argos yet. A couple of days ago a friend let me experience his machine that was recently received.
I looked at it from my usual critical perspective.

It is Beautifully constructed. And easily made with ease an excellent Cappuccino. Steaming the milk was terrific.

Can anyone comment about the robustness of the electronics that run the temperature control software? Given that there is not any other way for the machine to manage temperature if that gives out it would render the machine unusable.

Probably hella better than a Gicar, which will take out pretty much any conventional machine on the market today when it fails.

Do you think it's serviceable/replaceable like say a Gicar on an E61 machine?

At a minimum they should be replaceable. You can write him or ask on EAF if it is a significant enough concern.

I've had mine for several weeks now and beyond all the positive comments being shared by other users, I have to state that this machine creates a ridiculous amount of steam. I had to install my Decent De1+ steam wand with the single hole tip to slow things down a bit.
