It's an Enrico Italianstyle, but you seem to lack the portafilter?

I see half a portafilter at the very bottom of the photo.

The infamous Enrico Italianstyle. Many have tried to love this machine, I'm still waiting to hear from someone that has overcome it's design flaws and mastered it.Bluecold wrote:It's an Enrico Italianstyle...

this machine has a fundamental design flaw - the piston is around 55mm diameter but the portafilter is a whopping 70mm. (these numbers are not accurate, just from memory). Most successful italian home lever machines have a portafilter that is a narrow diameter and deep, which is very forgiving. In contrast this machine has a portafilter that is wide and shallow which leads to turbulence and diffusion of the piston force at the coffee cake.
I have given some thought to a new PF that may salvage this machine, but as yet I haven't put these ideas into practice.
Despite its many detractors, I would still take this machine over no machine at all.
I wish i had things like that hiding in my closet
