Almost .
Our roastery has some strange neighbours: a workshop for drift cars, some mechanics and the most valuable of all the machine workshop. And lot of deals against great coffee.
Adding the thermometry was a bit tricky and took some time but the Pro800 is no switched on and warming.
Some pictures about the assembly:
Finger crossed that there is no leak in the system.... It is getting a bit complex now...

Had a meeting in between but I could make a short video of the first shot:
The sensor is pretty sensitive.

Looks like it is working Gabor! Good job.
Now, will that readout on the gauge on the group?

It's working perfect but it is ONLY a working proto-type . To make it a product would need extensive testing.... It is really very interesting to see the temperature in the brewing chamber. The placement of the probe is the same as I did it in the Olympia Cremina Temperature Study, Part 4 3 years ago.
We have lot of running projects (building another roastery, finishing a new caffeinated short film, a new product for World of Coffee Amsterdam, finishing the assembly instruction for the modern lever group piston pressure kit .....) and unfortunately no time working on this one. But I'd be glad to provide any help if somebody would like to make a temperature (and pressure profiling ) study of the modern lever group.
