Talk me out of a Bosco Sorrento - Page 9
Very nice - I think it looks great! What is the knob to the left of the group and the knob on the bottom front right of the machine?
Very interesting. Purging the steam wand missing the drip tray would annoy me for sure. Beautiful looking machine.

Knob to the left of the group is the aforementioned anemic steam cup heater function. Bottom right of the machine is the manual boiler filler. I absolutely love that feature, especially paired with the boiler drain. This made full boiler flushes last night a breeze.Mbonus wrote:Very nice - I think it looks great! @jojo: nice work on your Bosco. Looks like they did a great job on your higher-end machine.

I've never used the stock Bosco steam arm that came on my 2011 Sorrento as the first owner replaced it with an LM GB 5 steam arm. It works great. No issues aiming it on or off the drip tray. I use an LM 2 hole tip. The knob controls are definitely the way to go.

Thank you JohnB. I was hoping I might get an arm recommendation and it sounds like I have one. Will follow the two tip to start as well.

Ooh, I like the manual boiler filler, cool. I was just noticing that could be useful on the Izzo machine I just got.
I also went with the joysticks but have knobs if I deem it to difficult to manage the steam level.
