so, the first shot - 14 grams, a large basket, the grinding on my EK43s moved from Domobar from 11.5 divisions to 15 - it was quite drinkable
then gave 16 grams and 17 divisions, also good
and then my wife and I drank 16 grams of 18 divisions, there was excellent bitterness, there was no acid, creamy taste (for the first time, probably, I think it will be even better :)
I am delighted :)

the question arose - filled the boiler 4 liters, before shutting down it was 2.5 L, half an hour after shutting down again 4 L. Do I have a connection to the water supply? Do you need to close any valve?

It is good to know.I briefly experimented with the extremes 120 and 128 but it was not enough
to reach conclusions.

Because he wouldn't have bought the Pompei if he was satisfied with the Strega. I imagine that like me he was looking for a more traditional spring lever shot. I bought one of the first Stregas 1st line brought in & used it for a few years making various modifications to try to get the shots I wanted. In the end I sold it & bought my Bosco. Much happier.

Interesting, can you precise what you was searching for and didn't found ?

Was the too powerful spring of Strega or the pump who fill the group in cause ?

My adventures with my Strega are detailed in the long Strega Owners thread I started. After lots of mods to try to get what I was looking for I moved on. Let's not derail this thread.
