Sprover + Lever Machine
Folks,
I just found out about the Sprover (Espresso Machine Pour Over Style Coffee) method. So I coarsely grind 12g single origin coffee median roast, put it in my billet basket, tamped, then on to the ACS EVO Leva. I pulled the lever down, and waited till I get around 144g coffee, moved my coffee cup out, lifted up the lever.
Then tried the coffee, and it was pretty good. The clarity is great, and I have some crema on top. Very pleasantly balanced shot. I am so glad that I found out about it.
I had to admit when seeing someone doing Sprover for the first time, I thought they didn't know what they were doing. It just looked wrong to me. Well, now I have tried it, the result is actually very good. I am not sure if I would make Americano the same way again.
