I would like to confirm if this is the pressurestat and if so what is the name of it? Do I control the pressure with that small wheel? Normally it cycles between 0.7-1.1 but sometimes it does not turn off at 1.1 and goes higher and the pressure relief valve starts steaming like crazy. Is this a sign of a faulty pressurestat?

That looks like the pstat though I never saw that model. Sometimes you can remove it and clean it. Replacements are not too expensive

Yes, I would like to remove it but not really sure how and I don't even know for sure what part is the pstat  . I did turn that wheel and pressure did drop from 1.1 to 0.9. I also descaled the boiler and now it cycles normally so far. I would like to buy a new pstat but would need to know the name first. The one they sell on lamacchinadelcafe seems very different.
