The original Victoria Arduino Athena Leva group I obtained only showed minor marking through four years of daily use. One time during my group modification experimentation I managed to knock the ring which caused rubbing between several parts. The condor group replacement parts I purchased were not perfect and needed minor modification to eliminate rubbing.

If it was warped, it would influence the way the fork of the handle sits within the group housing.
