To my knowledge they're all dippers.

I don't think that it has a cold-fed HX, though. I remember reading somewhere that the thermosyphon is circulating boiler water but I can't find the reference.

I do remember that the two-group version of the Lusso uses one thermosyphon - the two groups are bolted to a manifold which the thermosyphon is attached to.

Lusso is a thermosyphon. A very nice daily driver with the same espresso quality as the Export.

Yes it just circulates boiler water with no hx. Very temp stable though, well designed for its purpose

Thanks for confirming.

I think that 'Club' machines are a perfect size for many folks. I wish my Oly Club had a similar thermosyphon setup as the Lusso. (The Oly is a dipper so it takes a good 3/4 hour to warm-up - a thermosyphon would probably cut that time in half.)

The Export is a dipper too and takes 10 minutes.

Have a 2 group PVL. Assuming outside of a larger frame and 2nd group the design is the same. Thermosyphon group heads. PV's fit and finish on this specific machine is a bit lacking. Overall design looks to be an afterthought. Tried to squeeze two groupheads, water wand, steam wand, gauge onto too small a footprint. Also, no anti-vacuume valve. The good is you can pull shots as fast as you can dose, tamp, and lock. Like the Export. Heavy crema. Export is the "better" value.

I have a Sama export, with some TLC it's a wonderful machine!!
I am no barista, but I've gotten to the point where I prefer my coffee over most

I usually dose 16-17g, if I underdose I get a divot in the puck and a runny second pull, but dosed right it comes out great!

what dose are you using?
