Hi CT1 owners,

Also received my piston kit and have installed with success, but..... I have also bought the lid and I am unable to put it on the CT1 it seems the hole is too small for the gauge. After reading this thread, I found all your gauge doesn't have the silver "protection" so I'm assuming I need to remove it ? My unit is like the one below:

Thx for your help

Yeah, mine shipped in the silver thing to protect it, but I have it off installed. I can't imagine it would fit through the lid opening.

For couple mm wider it can fit but my apologize guys, please forget my question. The little stick"for transport only" was stayed in the box

The gauge for the Strietman has to be "NAKED" because of the steam. The first ones were delivered without the housing but a few had been damaged while transport so I put it back. The housing is only for transport.
