I'm officially interested. For a while now, I've felt I'm missing out on lever mania.

Super interested and curious as well. Everything I have seen from Paul has been quite amazing.

I'm thinking it will be a real gem of a machine. Not to put pressure on CafeLat & Paul, but they do make quality equipment and care about proper function. Looking forward to giving one a home on my bench.

I've been following this thread as a lurker for months, and now that i've registered I thought I would chime in.
Super excited to see what Paul has in store, we expect nothing but the best from Cafelat
I just watched the video again - from the reflection it looks like a direct piston action (rather than spring). Am i reading it wrong?
From his input on other threads, I always thought Paul was a proponent of the single spring driven lever group.
Also, Hello everyone! This is my first post though I have been reading the forums for quite a while now.
Looking forward to becoming an active part of this wonderful community.

Paul, I will put my new Monolith in a baby carrier and take the ferry over from Macau whenever you will let me come try a shot on the new lever!
Can't wait! As I my wife has a "one in,one out" rule on espresso machines now, I am already thinking who will be leaving me to make room.

Hi All,
Thanks for remembering about this. Yes I made some changes to the model and so my partners are having to have the quotes redone. It's all about the damn baskets....even IMS cannot assist in this. It's a home toy machine really, but makes fine coffee. I have spent all week making prototype portafilters for pre-ground coffee - hey HK is the most expensive place on the planet, have to try and make money somewhere.
