I'm going to be taking a look at this machine today and wondering if there should be anything in particular I should be on the lookout for.




The owner said the head needs a rebuild... I'm figuring gaskets, perhaps a spring. To my knowledge it was in service in a hotel until it was replaced a couple years ago. Are gaskets, springs, and other parts available for this type of machine? Is this grouphead well regarded/produce great espresso when properly set up? Would it lend itself well to a PID retrofit?

Finally, the owner wants 600, though he said he's flexible on price. Does this sound reasonable?
