I really don't think La Dorio (Italian brand) and Olimpica (Spanish brand) are related... except that La Dorio have a model called "Olimpica".
(Well, that's what I tried to explain earlier).
Spain is an underestimate place for espresso machines... they used to have many national brands during the golden age (Vazquez del Saz, Oyarzun, Campeona, Numbar,...). History is like memory, very selective.

I am amázed by how many of this wondeful pluriformity of old machines are still around in sheds.
The founder of Ascaso built his empresa by travelling the country with spare parts he made.

Depending on what is needed, the parts division still is an incredible source.
