Perhaps the updated ACS version is easier from the top?

And for those who wonder how this is possible there is a valve at back of group controlling the water inflow and not the piston seals acting as a valve.
The Evo group can be done from the bottom as well...

Lets see if this will upload...it's something I did for the Evo, but it shows the two types of groups and how they work. I made a .gif animation but they don't play on HB, so I converted it to a video.
