I've been trying to get them to release a Leva Luxury (glass) single for 2 years but no luck

Good to see they are still in the 1 group business

Sharp!

It'd be wise of manufacturers to use a prop in some of their promo pics. Specifically a standard cup (demi or capp), so the viewer can get an idea at a glance of work area and clearance without having to dig for the specs. That looks to be quite tight in the vertical for a spouted PF, to say nothing of having room for use with a proper scale. Appearances can be deceiving.

I'm thinking one of the colorful Acme or Loveramics cappuccino cups could accent/contrast nicely here. Yes, users could gain clearance with a bottomless. But that choice shouldn't be assumed.

Did LSM and Conti use the same design firm?

I really like the looks of that LSM. It would be fun to write a review if they ever market them in the US. I like the retro lever handle.

Quite a while wanted to ask why I dont see the 85 1 group in forums and FB, compared to what I assume are the natural competitors: Profitec, Izzo, Bezzera or even Londinium :?:

Some details on their website. The one-group is part of their 20/20 line.

... and room for a scale? In an Italian lever machine? Heresy!

With a bottomless portafilter, there would be room for a scale. Hobbyists are heretics, after all.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the looks. It looks like a slightly cleaned up Conti or Rancilio Classe that just happens to have a nicer yoke style handle.

That handle makes pulling from a lower counter easy. You can switch from a pull in a push without letting go of the lever.
