I'm dying to see the group back on it. Did you have the sides polished or do it yourself? What was you sanding/polishing process like, briefly.

You really scored on this machine, I looks fairly compact but with a glorious commercial group.

for the cleaning, not miraculous solution.

behind the machine it was dirty, simply to cleaning
on top, i cheat with a adhesive plate, chrome appearance. Armaflex should contain heat.
the front was been cleaning with scotche-brite, misery :? a little steel wool but strategically, there's not a lot to do to hide.
A new chrome or a good position for the photography :mrgreen:

Hi Vincent:

Nice work! I sent out the stainless steel front plate of one of my machines with Scotch Brite scratches for polishing on a big buffing wheel. That was cheaper than chrome plating and it did the job.
