Pretty bummed about the Christmas date... Not sure if I can make it in isolation without an espresso machine much longer.

I too was hoping for sooner. Just bought a new pump machine but what I really want is a lever to mess around with. I just didn't want to spend 2500+ on one not having ever used one. Obviously there are cheaper options, but I don't really love the La Pavoni's. Oh well, suppose I'll just have to wait!
