It's a great machine! If it could steam it would ( in my eyes ) be the ultimate machine![creative nickname] wrote:I always love to see a pic of a Veloxtermo in action!

Guido, did you get that heatsink on the Pavoni from [anonymized], or did you fab your own?

Make sure you get an LMWDP number, if you haven't already done so!

Greetings, Pullers:
Long time listener, first time register.
Call me nuts, but I just completed a build of a manual lever machine from scratch. I bought the remains from a Conti machine from an inmate here, and set out to make the frame and all of the necessary components. Long story and 6 months later, it works. Pictures to come.
My espresso story is driven by a lack of quality coffee in my area - Baltimore. I started with a silvia, moved on to an Azkoyen, which is a Spanish E61 rotary pump driven machine, then migrated through several grinders and then to a Ponte Vecchio Lusso, where the lever obsession took hold. When the Lusso cracked, I set out to put together the Conti. What a difference in every way- the Conti is a huge beast with so much power.
I firmly believe in the soft ramp up of lever pressure- it yields a terrific shot.

I fabricated it myself.
But with [anonymized] (in fact Tije is the inventor and supplier of [anonymized]) his heatsink as an example.
