Here's something a little different. During winter break I convinced my bar friend to volunteer as a barista for a day. Let's just say it got hectic during rush hour! I worked on a massive 4 group La San Marco 85 leva, which weighs almost 250lb. This machine has a brutish look that will churn out shots by the score.

You can also buy these used for a steal in Naples area and are almost always for sale.

Pro 800 sporting ECM joystick steam and hot water, making it a pleasing experience from the standard rotating knobs.
Notice the fine custom woodwork supplied by Wilcox Handmade Coffee Parts. The end result is superb craftsmanship and a sight to behold for sure.
Saint Anthony Industries supplied the distribution wedge and tamper.

Hey Gerry, those 800 pics with that fancy woodwork are so sharp they hurt - Ouch!

I love the look of the ECM Synchronika portafilter handles, So I had these fashioned after them in walnut.

Sadly the one on the right will be leaving me as Reiss at Londinium very generously donated it as a prize at an upcoming lever focussed day in the UK. Still at least I get to play with it for a month.
