The really impressive thing is that you actually have the drip thingy with it!! Congratulation.
It will clean up very nicely I am sure!!
Don't forget to post the "after" picture!

it's not perfect, not yet finished, but it's starting to look like something.
The sheet steel was really ... wavy.

Impressionnant!!!
Are you going to paint the sides or keep them this color?
I think that I like the cream color. I specially like the switch panel with the same material.
Also like the water tank cap. Almost look like it is all original.
Belle restoration.

thank you, but we do not see many flaws in the photos. I'll leave the sides like that.
I'm missing a big threaded rod on the back for a good fit. And an indicator light on the front, the red light is dead.

Always glad to welcome another Ponte Vecchio owner to the fold. I'm fixin to post my annual update to my original Ponte Vecchio Export thread, started 30 December 2005. That's seven years of great espresso. I hope yours serves you as well.

It probably made the scene easier to film, so the cup could slide right under the group without fiddling. Q probably wanted to modify it to fire rockets or blow tear gas out of the steam wand though

It's also one way to fix a rusted out base.
