Did anyone ever try to make a 58 mm grouphead for the la pavoni home market?

How much would it cost to make this? 250?

A 58mm GH on a LP would give me the willies. Too much strain on those two small flange bolts.
If that's where you were going with this?

I'd be more interested in a 58mm group mod to 51 mm basket size. See if one could that pavoni esprsso from larger group, yeah!

I don't think it would work very well. If you wanted a La Pavoni style dipper with a 58mm group it would have to be built from the ground up.

On the other hand you could pick up the Gaggia Achille to get a 58mm manual lever, but it has a heat exchanger, and a lot of leaking problems.
