I saw this video quite a few months back when it first appeared. Don't know why they're resending it now.
Lack of 1-group version might be for many reasons, the least of which might be weight of the body to not pull the whole thing over. Although other manufacturers have solved that issue, I'm KvdW could have as well.

I would love a single group version of this!

So nice-would be in my home even as a double group if I had the space and funds. The innovations in the group are super interesting. Wonder how it compares to the LM Leva (which I know nothing about)

It might also be that KvdW will wait till these machines are out in the wild for a few years, see what the feedback is and if there are any modifications or changes the should be made that they hadn't thought about in the initial design phase. Once production catches up with demand, Covid, supply chains etc., they might come out with a 1-group machine after they have caught their breath - if they think it would be viable.

You may be right. It took a bit for LM to offer the X1. In the meantime I'm getting more and more interested in the Nurri.

A one group isn't going to happen just as it didn't with the original Idrocompresso. I asked Kees about this when this version came out and he made it clear that there wouldn't be a 1 group version.

Pity, did they say why?

The Speedster is their only single group platform & it's not suitable for a lever group. It would flip forward whenever you pulled the lever down.

I suspected that was one reason they discontinued it since it was in a previous iteration of the Idrocompresso.

They must not have thought it worth it to ballast the rear of the machine.
