I often order from theespressoshop.uk. Many postage options and usually very fast. Prices are often lower than most other shops.Pudding Guy wrote:Yes, that's the one. I see hints of orange in places, but I when I lightly scratch away the paint on the underside, it looks like it might have been brown. I'm going to remove the boiler soon that that may reveal more. I removed the pstat yesterday, and it was indeed pretty gunky. Another question for you all: why does the replacement from Stefano (https://www.espressocare.com/products/i ... -la-pavoni) cost so much more than this one from the Espresso Shop (https://www.theespressoshop.co.uk/en/us ... xEQAvD_BwE). Which is recommended for my replacement?

It might be enough to just clean out the tube and pstat to get it working normal.

@Jonk. Good idea; I'll probably put things back as they were to see how it works before doing more.

Brown could have been a primer for the prevalent orange of that period. I haven't bought many parts recently but a few years ago when I was looking for more parts, that shop in the UK seemed to have very good prices, even if paying for shipping. I've bought from espressoparts.com (US) when they often have 30% off sales, but they have that same UK pressurestat at $38.50. I'd try to get the original functioning. Edit: didn't see these other posts, needed to refresh the page I guess.Pudding Guy wrote: it looks like it might have been brown.
