It's Kickstarter so it's always maybe, but this looks like it might be real. Very clever take on a portable lever machine.

Clever but a Vam\Caravel is simple to clean, take apart and heats up its own water.
Footprint about the same also.
All comes down to price as it may make for a nice cubicle espresso maker for work when paired with a small hand grinder.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.
Semper discens.

Nice idea but I think I'll stick with my faema baby. Might be worth a try depending on price

Can't beat $100 but I couldn't agree more on the Caravel. Plus I kinda like his first prototype more. Looks like the old Sears drill press stand I used to have for my foredom.

Surprised this isn't getting more attention here.

I guess we are all waiting for Paul Pratt's invention.

I have to agree. For $100. why is there not a good buzz ?
Seems like a nice set, given it's portability and travel case.

The idea is great and at first glance it looked very interesting. Then I noticed that in the video there seems to be no shower screen. Water is poured directly onto the grounds. It looks as if they are swelling up and swimming on the water.
Also I had no idea how I should preheat the brewing container without making a fuss. So I lost interest.

Do you have to carry a kettle along with this. Doesn't seem to have any way to keep water hot.
