I'm in need of replacing/buying a new slight glass to replace my old and foggy current one. Anybody who can make, sell or direct me in the right direction, would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

did you check Francesco? I recall reading something about it being pretty standard glass, perhaps taking the old glass to a company doing window replacements / glass items is enough. Making it should be easy enough

What about sanding your existing one. I remember having an old car that had headlights that had foggy headlights - auto supply stores sold a sanding kit that when used, resulted in the glass being almost like new (super high grit, wet sandpaper). It may work...

Had one cut couple of years ago. Glass place or watch repair should be able to cut simple round piece with ease.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.
Semper discens.

Last time I checked with Francesco about the sight glass, he told me to make a replica at any glass shop. The thickness is 3mm.

You could try toothpaste too and see if that helps.

Hello:

Here's a link to an outfit that makes round glass plate pieces for ornamental purposes:

https://www.cchobby.com/glass-plate-rou ... 3-mm-10-pc

The one in the page I link to is 3mm thick, 7cm in diameter and has a 2mm hole to hang it from.
Drop them a line to see if they have or can cut a few of the size you need.

Obviously without the hole ... 8^D !

Cheers,

it looks quite clear, try a dremel and some cutting paste followed by a polish?
