Evil Scale in my Olympia Cremina Group Head

Hello Folks,
Just took apart my 90 Olympia Cremina group head after 6 months due to persistent leaking and found this on the inside of the group.

Looks like Scale. Will Cerini Descaler do the trick?

Any recommendations for proper cleaning without scratching the brass?

That's not much to get worried about. 50/50 vinegar and hot water, scrub with an old toothbrush and you'll be good.
