What would be your dream/best vintage lever machine and for what reason?

a two group first series Faema Urania, just for the sheer looks of it, fact that they seem indestructible is a nice plus

Faema Marte or Nettuno. Also the LSM commercial levers like the LoLo or Disco Volante. They just look so amazing. 2 group versions would round out the dream machine aspect. A Faema Velox (wall mount) would also be pretty great.

For me it would be the Kees van der Westen Mirage Veloce Idrocompresso with the Bosco groups, because of its beauty, design by Kees van der Westen and the Bosco groups.
A masterpiece of functional art.

A 2 group Faema President.
Probably a slightly biased answer though
A Veloxtermo to hang in the office would be pretty cool.

IMO, the Urania and Marte are the prettiest of the attainable levers with the Mercurio right behind them. I'd also like a Velox too. An LSM Meteor would be awesome too but I have no idea how expensive that would be.

faema president with a velox group! I love my velox and my lambro so if I could combine the 2 with the looks of the president I'd be in heaven

About ten years ago I restored and then sold a Conti Prestina. Since then I've been using a Gaggia Compacta, a great machine but I've sure missed the Prestina. With looks only a mother could love, it's nevertheless, in my opinion, the ultimate in a functional, no frills, espresso machine.
