Hey All -
Home stretch of a very drawn out update to an old machine that was my grandfathers'.
I have descaled the machine maybe 10 times using descaler and this is still the interior:
Should I:
A: Keep descaling till cleaner
B: Use a vinegar and water solution - machine heated for an hour
C: Dremel tool
Replaced the coil since I took this picture so its ok now.
What do you think?

Seems fine to me. I don't see any scale. The discolouration is normal.

I will second that, I see no scale. Scale is usually white or gray, kind of like dried salt. All I see in that picture is discolored copper which is perfectly normal.
