does anybody know whether Caravel 1.0 PF will work with 2.0 machine? I've got 2.0 machine and I'm thinking about buying bottomless portafilter from http://www.brooks-usedespressomachines. ... ter-basket. The problem is that it's listed under 1.0-1.3 accessories. I've contacted the store but got no answer.

Yes, the PFs fit across all generations (even the boxy Ursulas will accept the early version PFs). I believe the Brooks reference is to the handle type, a purely cosmetic aspect.
