The question I keep asking myself now is how much will it cost to get up and running, and is it possible it cant be restored?

That's the ultimate bargain! Here's a photo of it's predecessor (?), the Tipo 50. As it says "gruppi a torchio, sensa vapore": pressure group, without steam, so a real lever espresso machine.

I can't wait to get it home and get started on it. I will need to have new glass made for the sides and the small grates that go behind the glass. So is this a 1956? Thanks for all of the replies, could not be happier with it. And im not going to clean the chrome untill this machine is fully functional( as more incentive to get it pulling). :D
