If anyone is looking to change the color selection from their Argos order, I have a bare metal (stainless steel) & white ash wood unit on order and I'm looking to swap for a white machine & white ash wood.

I asked Odyssey but I can't request a change at this point unless someone else was looking to get my original configuration.

It's possible to swap the color choices in our orders with Odyssey Espresso directly

I believe it's may also be possible to get a black unit at the moment if you have a white on order and would prefer swapping for a black one.

If anyone's interested please DM me.

I aware that we must be very near for the first Argos machines to be released. There was some concern regarding the 8 bar spring. ........I'm not privy to the details of the Odyssey's final days of the Argos voyage.
There must be some additional information, rumors or impressions that someone has become aware of.
Is it time to ready ourselves for the initial reviews that will be posted.
Is the 'Argos' about to reach its final port/destination.
Anyone willing to share any news about when this might happen.

No firm release dates have been mentioned yet. Regarding the 8-bar spring, it testing it was more like 7 bar, so it was changed out to a spring that delivers 8-bar. Ross mentioned on Discord that everyone is the first batch of machine orders will also get the 7-bar spring to try.

So, there will be No. 6 Bar alternative spring offered now. It will be a 7 Bar I assume.
I wasn't looking for a firm release date...some early one for review.
Maybe there has been a private review & revision release. Hope all goes well.

My understanding is that if you ordered a 6-bar spring, you'd get a 6-bar spring. As I recall the first batch of 8-bar springs weren't up to expectations. So if you ordered an 8-bar spring, you'd get a revised version as well a "7-bar" one. I'm not really sure as that's behind several months' of posts.

I think the last delay is that the hole in the casing had to be modified for the EMF filter on the power cord to fit.
I can't remember if they modified existing cases or had new ones made.
Once they have been finished the CE certification can be finalised on the production versions.

I am following them on Instagram, they post here and there pictures from the production process and it looks like they have many units in a very advanced building stage.

The best place to follow progress is on EAF Discord. Ross and other members of the team regularly comment and discuss the topic of the day.

Yeah, I figured Discord would be the right place to get the most info; it can just feel at times way too overwhelming (for me personally) with the amount of info shared around there. But it is definitely a very valuable source and so far my experience (I am only on the xBloom discord) is that creators are very actively interacting with users.

I am also quite interested in the daily discussion in the XBloom Discord community. The XBloom has completed the development of the machine. The community is now actively engaged in all applications and services that support its mission.
The XBloom Discord has brought together a diverse community.
A group of creative coffee baristas and excellent coffee roasters programming incredible new coffee flavors with this amazing technology.

The Argos Discord has an astonishing array of people. Some, with a background in engineering that bern providing assistance and development of this unique project. .......And others who are dedicated to making this project become a reality.
I have no doubt this long overdue project will become hugely successful.
There is also an unusual group that has other things they share while waiting for updates.
Some terrific, home made pizzas are shown.
