Im not sure which portion are u ref to but at 4:53 onwards the pump is engaged and i dont see any movement of the cups.
More pertinently, i use my machine every day and i know for a fact that the pump doesnt cause any untoward vibration.

twice in this vid, if were are making points

im glad you like it, i looked at them when they first hit bella barista website, when i wasnt looking

i welcome vids etc, its the reason i make mine, when i was looking for info on my ssp burrs, there was very little, same with the evo very little,

i take all influncer stuff on youtube with a pinch of salt - most dont own, most dont know anything about the machine, etc, and most never show you a shot start to finish warts and all, for me i find more info from a video start to finish with no music etc.

cheers

There does seem to be some vibration of the cups in the German-speaking clip but not the English speaking one. Not sure what's the cause of that in the former...the noise on the other hand seems normal for a rotary pump...

Yes, but he does not own the patent......ACS do

If ever a subject cried out for a separate thread... Indeed, we could have an entire "Intellectual Property" category. These are interesting questions (the Moka pot history, for example), but I'm selfish and just want to know about how the machines would help me make good espresso and what issues owners have had.

agree.

i put a little love hate thing on another forum:

So I'm coming up to 10months with the Evo now and have really settled into routine, my machine was bout used from another forum member,

I did away with the WiFi plug, the speed it heats up is so quick that you don't have to wait more than 15 minutes

Few of the things I like:

Heat up time

Temperature adjustment inc turning off of individual boilers

Repeatability and consistent shots,

Group pressure gauge

Things I'm not fond of

Side door and side water filling, its awkward and i dont like the hinge,

The 4hole steam tip design, I much preferred the bulb shape on the Bianca over the chiseled Evo tip.

It really is a very good machine, totally over kill for my 4-5 drinks a day, it does come into it's own for family gathering though

a mute note is the sound of the pump, as some one who is very sound sensitive, getting rid of a vibe pump machine, in vids the sound of the gear pump really put me off, in person its not as loud and you quickly get used to it, to the point now - should a rotary ever become a retro fit mod, id probably not bother.

I live in Calgary, Alberta and visited Coffee Addicts last Saturday to check out the ACS Evo Leva in person. Beautiful machine. I also had a great chat with the owner. He told me they will be bringing in the Vostok - and thinking of bringing in the Nurri. I'm excited to see them both side by side. The owner is keen on spring levers which is really refreshing to see for a retailer.

I cannot see clearly what it is under the cups in the english speaking clip, if it is a towel or a tray.

Regardless of that, i just tried out an experiment on my own machine (i normally keep my cups on a towel on top of the machine to prevent the possibility of any scratches). I put the cups on top of thr machine without the towel and turned on the pump. I could not see any vibration evident on the cups.
