I remember another thread about a member converting this machine for his father. There was considerable work involved in its development. I remember the large sail was removed. There was a satisfactory result. For some reason I'm unable to locate this information.

That much effort doesn't make economic sense to me at the price listed. If one is going to fabricate a new case, then there's no reason to pay the roughly $500 premium to get the Ventus' exterior.
