Will a lack of fertilizer cause coffee bean shortages?

I am hearing about a lack for fertilizer in the USA that is going to cause food shortages for next year. Even if it is out of the USA, will a lack of fertilizer cause coffee bean shortages? I was not sure if I should stock up and place in the freezer since I googled coffee plants use fertilizer.

While it does seem like there is a shortage of fertilizer and prices are high, I'm not sure if fertilizer is widely used in growing coffee. However, due to inflation people might have to cut back on coffee purchases, which might mean there could be a surplus of coffee.

There are too many factors here to really know, such as the over all cost of energy and weather. You might look at coffee futures as a leading indicator of where professionals think coffee is going.
