Why did Bellman discontinue the CX-25E electric steamer?

It makes so more much sense than their current accident-waiting-to-happen stovetop version. Anyone know why it's no longer available and why there's no similar product on the market (at least not at a similar price point)?

I rather like their stovetop version, use it everyday with my 9Barista, no problems so far on an electric stove and makes very respectable foam!

Do you steam with the Bellman still on the stove or do you move it to the counter?
