Her name is Goldie and she's infatuated with the espresso machine. She jumps up to sit at the machine a bit before 5 PM each day awaiting the timer to turn it on for our evening decaf flat white's. Her brother Junior has no interest in coffee.

Well Goldie is so intent on the machine as well as the photographer! I thought she looked like a girl but didn't want to be presumptuous.

Our orange boy loves the top of the Synchronika but he's heavy, so he is encouraged to lounge elsewhere.

Dave, your triangular handles are interesting! Care to describe your impressions of the ergonomics of them versus the more standard round style?

I much prefer the ergonomics of a triangular grip, though I have never used one for an 8hr barista shift. Admittedly I originally got the idea years ago when using some Calphalon knives. I also find it much more difficult to fabricate since I cannot use a wood lathe and have to shape most of the angles by hand. With a full woodworking shop I am sure others will find it much easier than my basic tools. Another tough point is clock angle of the grip vs the PF head, I had to shave a bushing a little at a time until they locked together at the perfect angle. Thanks for the question!
