Has anyone tried this 20A Wi-Fi outlet?

Hi,
I have seen some other posts of similar products but have not seen anyone discussing this particular one, which seems relatively new. Does anyone have a view?
https://www.amazon.com/ConnectSense-Con ... 081ZCTHH7/
Like many of you my espresso machine (ECM Synchronika) can heat both boilers simultaneously when on 20A power. Also like many of you I want to use a smart timer of some sort to turn the machine on and off for me each day.
I do have a 20A circuit in my kitchen and currently have a 20A outlet with the T-shape on one side. I would prefer to use a "smart plug" and have a few of those already, but none are rated for 20A and I don't want to risk frying one.
I realize it's somewhat expensive, but seems like the only option I can find, unless someone else has another idea...

Jon, I haven't used the ConnectSense product -- way back when I wired in the only 20a smart controller available at the time -- but it's UL-rated and the reviews on Amazon are pretty good, so IMHO it would be worth a try, especially since you can return it to Amazon if it doesn't work as advertised. Assume you've already confirmed that the wiring on your current outlet is proper from a gauge standpoint for supporting 20a.

I wanted mine to be z-wave compatible so this is the one I'm using on my Lucca M58. Works great! No issues at all.

I have a synchronika and I use the 15 amp outlet below. Nice app with schedules etc and it has worked well.

That's what I've been using since 2017. Works very well, but depending on how Jon's outlet is wired -- mostly whether he has any access to it between the receptacle and the breaker box -- it may or may not be feasible for him to consider. Fortunately I was able to intercept the dedicated 20A wiring in an accessible location and have been pleased with the Aotec's operation.cerone wrote:I wanted mine to be z-wave compatible so this is the one I'm using on my Lucca M58. Thanks for the feedback. I don't think I can interrupt to insert the switch within the wiring, so I think I will try this Amazon outlet. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Just purchased myself a QM Vetrano Evo 2B, and am wondering if people have had success with any smart outlets on 20A?
The Connect Sense (https://iot.connectsense.com/products/in-wall-outlet) seems like it might work - and I've heard that the power is actually 2400W for to 20A, not 1800W.
All help is appreciated, thank you!

If our Wemo gave out I would definitely give this a shot! However, with the time it takes me to pull a shot I seriously doubt a 20-amp outlet would make any difference.

I'm looking specially for 20A because that is what the machine is rated at, with both steam and brewer boilers working at once.
