Food safe silicone grease

You should look up the MSDS on the product and see what it says about "incidental contact" and "direct contact" before buying a can to try out. Superlube is rated as "food safe" for incidental contact and not that difficult to find. For direct contact most people use Molycote or a similar product.

Yes, I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Dow-Corning-Lubr ... 00V2K25PK/. This little container should last you years; I use so little at a time.

As Hankua said, most use this or other Molykote food grade lube.
