My regular machines have been on hold so when I feel like a milk-based drink, I use a bamix. It works fine (okay for cow milk but mediocre to poor for alternates), I can't quite get the same results like this dude here (youtube). Then last night I read this little gem post #4 (H-B). Which somewhat parallels my experience using cold milk to practice with the bamix, I would achieve great foam for art all the way through. This gave me the incredibly bright idea to "stretch" before heating, then microwave, and finally finish "texturing" the bubbles. Yeah... that doesn't work. On the flip side, it could've been a lot worse
