a coffee advent calendar, containing pre ground sachets of SO coffees....shipped early Nov, arriving/tasted in December

Risks and challenges
The main issue we have highlighted is keeping the coffee fresh, whilst delivering on our ship by date. We have taken every precaution to maintain the freshness of the coffee with our valved bags and we will be packaging the fresh coffee two weeks prior to the end of the campaign. We have an experienced team in logistics and know we have to ship the calendars in early November to guarantee they arrive at worldwide destinations in time for December.

Their claims of "freshly ground" coffee in their individual packets reminded me of this gem:

Guest: I'm afraid it's not fresh

Fawlty: We've just opened the bottle-

Guest: Fresh means it comes out of an orange, not a bottle.

Fawlty: Oh, you'd like freshly squeezed orange juice?

Guest: As opposed to freshly unscrewed orange juice, yes!

For those curious, here are some photos of that Starbucks in Milan that my mother took when she visitied three months ago. It seems very posh compared to regular Starbucks stores! You can buy unique mugs and espresso cups along with some pretty fancy brewing gear. They even had two antique machines on loan from MUMAC, which is a large espresso machine museum south of Milan and highly recommend you see if visiting the area. My favorite image is the one with the plumbed in pour overs! :D
