Hey, they're not that crazy. It's coffee - not Tide-Pods!

The most outstanding automatic pour-over coffee machine... maybe just perfect for your coffee shop.
Start video at 7 minute mark.

Hoon seems like a nice guy but I cannot believe this short has 4.7 MILLION views, showcasing how to use thousands of dollars worth of equipment and superfluous steps to make....what I'm positive was an awful tasting shot :( .

Craziest s#$% I've seen all week.

Certainly an extra step or two, but it all made sense till the shot lasted 5 seconds, unless he did that speeded up because he though 30 seconds watching a shot is boring. But it certainly does raise a lot of questions.

Such puck prep isn't crazy enough unless the Porcupress is involved. 8)

Similar but not same. Porcupress is applied after coffee distribution pins just before tamping. It pokes the puck for more even flow of water, or so they claim.

Crazy like a fox, Doug Garrott from Orphan Espresso made himself a hand-cranked V blender for evenly mixing coffee blends together.
