Ash is no problem either, just make sure it has cooled first :D No more plugged filters 8)

Love it. Can't wait. Emptying a shop vac full of smash was miserable too. Now a 5 gal bucket is easy to invert in a garbage bag or spread around a garden.

I just finished using a dust deputy to separate the fly ash from a anthracite burning coal stove in perpetration for winter heat and it meets and exceeds expectations as the attached shop vacuum filter bag is not clogged and the fly ash is in the bucket, about 2 gallons worth of nice fine fly ash.

If you buy the metal version of the dust deputy then the hot roaster exhaust will not melt it down while in use.

That's a great price. I paid $99 for mine. If you want something that works just as well and fits under a workbench, you could get a $16 woodstock dust collector lid. It only requires a quick mod to get it to perform to the same level.

I made a quick follow up video for it.
