For the blend, I currently just archive the beans and add a new one. I agree it would be hard to add something to record this.

Thanks for the tip I will turn on the parameter.
Actually, I now have created some additional brew methods : i: gift, ii. waste and iii. blend. This way the roasted beans archive when I blend them. It works well for me :-)

I have come up with a way to deal with blends. I added a Method called blend. When I actually blend the roasted beans, I create two brews via the blend Method for the full weight of the beans and they automatically archive. I then create a new bean with the total weight of the archived beans.

I've also created two other methods called Waste and Gift for other purposes.

All works well for me. :)

What visualizer (Android) do people use with the export function?

How do you mean this?
The export is for this platform: https://visualizer.coffee/
#Spoiler - In the next version, there will be the possibility to upload automatic without doing it by hand.

Best

New user, loving the app on my iPhone, but am having MacOS problems. When I load the app on my MacBook Air (7.0.1), and select Beanconqueror -> Settings, I get this screen:

This is where I'd expect to see the Import and Export options, among other things.

Any ideas?

OK, I'm still learning. :) I figured out that all of the menus are just OS supplied defaults. The nav is in the app itself, so I did the sortof-hamburger at the top left, and then Menu -> Settings -> Import.

So, next problem: I exported the data from my phone, then sent the zip to my MBA. I then tried the import with the zip, and then with the JSON file within the zip. Both failed silently, there's no data imported. I also tried exporting to XLSX and importing, same thing, silently failed.

Did I do something wrong?

Brad

Hey Brad,

sorry - MacOS is not supported, just iPhone and iPad.

Also to mentioned: Just .ZIP files can be imported with the latest Version.
There is a backup mode to .JSON but this is not recommended anymore.

XLSX files cant be imported.

Hope that helps, else please ask again.
Have a great cup of coffee

Lars, thanks for the app and all the work to support it. I'm trying to get brew charts to work with my new Acaia Pearl, specifically the scale's auto-start mode (the timer starts when you start pouring). I want to use the scale's auto-start and not the app's because the scale mode also does some arithmetic for me and calculates the net brew weight. I haven't been able to find any guide for how to use the app in depth, and Google keeps directing me back to this thread. Is it possible to use brew charts in this scale mode?
