FYI, the tampers - all colours were eventually available - lasted until about 3pm Eastern. I think 3d violet sold out first.

Chris King's Instagram said that there would be a re-stock before the end of the year, so it seems that they are making these now.

For higher price consumer goods like this brand, long lasting quality should be the norm.

It's all self leveling tamper nowadays, especially in that price range.

I'm a little bummed I received my email today. Of course the colors I was interested in were already sold out. Guess now I have to spend money on something sensible.

You can try one of those +- $50 tampers and put a brand name of your desire using something like this.

The unicorn LevTamp from KafaTek was back in stock for a day and I received mine today. There may be more next week.

I have a Chris King bottom bracket, head set and the best of all, Chris King Hubs. The "bumble bee" rears hub is the best. Don't have a tamper though.
